Class Description
WHAT YOU WILL TAKE HOME: Champagne Trout; Frozen Peach Rose Slush; Elk Meatballs; Lamb Lollipops with Blackberry Sauce; Sweet Corn Orzo; Roasted Corn with Bleu Cheese Butter As a child, Abigail grew up all over the world, but having lived here twice, she always called Colorado Springs home. It was no question she would raise her children here and promptly placed roots with a 1 year old when her husband joined the Air Force. Since 2019, as an adult, Abigail has traveled to many farmer's markets across the state and studied dishes and ingredients local to our Front Range. Each summer, she plans to bring new dishes made from locally grown produce and other ingredients from our mountain abode. This year we will make 6 dishes her family devours, including one that has been made by 4 generations of her family, all of who learned to trout fish in these same mountains. At the end of class we will have a refreshing snack of Peach Slushie and Champagne Trout!
