Class Description
WHAT YOU WILL TAKE HOME: Authentic Boarder Churros; Mexican Cornbread; Coliseum Danger Dogs; Spicy Chicken Tortilla Soup; White Queso; Weeknight Fajitas Did you know Chef Abigail is married to a Californian who prides himself in knowing all the best Mexican street food L.A. has to offer? As a true Coloradan, Abigail couldn't imagine living in the concrete jungle forever, but before they left, she was sure to capture all the authentic dishes LA had to offer such as Danger Dogs, Street Churros, and the classic Chili Rellenos before she found fool-proof ways to create them in her own kitchen to share with you! In this class we will make 6 dishes which are yours to take home with recipes that include loads of substitutions and tricks after we snack on churros that will melt in your mouth. As with any culturally-specific class, we will also cover important cultural differences in the cuisine and where to procure the right ingredients here in the mountains.
