We had a fabulous date night at the Sushi Night. We were welcomed with champagne and smiles as we mingled with our fellow sous chefs in training and sampled yummy appetizers prepared by Chef Abigail. The kitchen itself was impressive, and I was giddy to learn new cooking skills in a kitchen worthy of a Food Network competition. Chef Abigail was eager to share her extensive knowledge and talent—and did so with charm and humor. I was pleased to learn where to locally source sushi grade fish, how to roll sushi, new knife skills, and creative flavor blending ideas. My husband and I had a great time preparing our sushi together and were quite proud of our rolls! Who knew raw fish could be so romantic!? We really loved the idea enjoying our finished sushi and cucumber salad with our new friends at a well set table as if we were celebrating at a 5 star restaurant. We will definitely be watching for future cooking classes and events!
